江主席：郝前副主席一生公忠體國 國民黨深切哀悼
前行政院長、中國國民黨前副主席郝柏村於今（30）日下午病逝三總，國民黨主席江啟臣表示震驚及哀悼之意。江主席表示，郝前副主席戎馬一生、公忠體國，個性剛毅不屈，於國家認同上不偏不倚，是值得全黨效法的模範，除了對家屬致上最高的慰問，國民黨也將全力協助郝前副主席的身後治喪事宜。
江主席表示，郝前副主席見證了中華民國百年歷史，一生擔任過無數國家及本黨要職，親身參與保衛台灣、建設台灣，對國家民族有卓越貢獻，國民黨將永遠緬懷「郝伯伯」傳奇的一生。

Expresses Deep Sorrow over the Passing of Hau Pei-tsun
Former Premier and former Kuomintang (KMT) Vice-Chairman Hau Pei-tsun (郝柏村) passed away due to illness this afternoon (March 30th) at the Tri-Service General Hospital; KMT Chairman Johnny Chiang (江啟臣) expressed his shock and sorrow. Chairman Chiang stated that former Vice-Chairman Hau had devoted his whole life to military affairs, that he had loyally and justly served the Republic of China (ROC), and that with his stalwart, unyielding personality and unbiased national identity, he was a model worthy of emulation by the entire party. Moreover, Chairman Chiang indicated that in addition to expressing heartfelt sympathy for Hau’s family, the KMT would spare no effort in assisting with funeral arrangements.
Chairman Chiang stated that former Vice-Chairman Hau, a witness to the centennial history of the ROC, had served in countless critical positions in both the ROC and the KMT during his lifetime, personally participating in both the defense and development of Taiwan. Chairman Chiang went on to state that Hau had made exceptional contributions to both the Republic and to the people, adding that the KMT would forever commemorate Uncle Hau’s legendary life.
