國民黨：引用網路圖片突顯蔡政府打壓台灣言論自由現狀
中國國民黨今（28）日指出，國民黨官方推特帳號上所轉載之網路圖片，目的是突顯蔡英文政府獨裁極權、打壓台灣言論自由的現在進行式，提醒全體國人及國外朋友，在民進黨執政下，台灣即將失去新聞自由、言論自由，成為綠色一言堂；如此支持言論自由的呈現，竟然被綠媒、酸民進行政治審查，正反映出這是如何諷刺的事！
國民黨強調，該圖片早在今年上半年已在網路流傳，4月即在DCARD社群平台上刊登，新頭殼7月6日也已於新聞報導中引用，並非國民黨所創。這次引用該圖片目的在於讓世人瞭解蔡英文目前施政獨裁、極權的進行式，強調台灣一定要有充分的言論自由， 不然就跟共產制度一樣， 而且變成綠色恐怖。
國民黨指出，對台灣現今蔡政府一黨獨大、拿民粹掩蓋獨裁、毀憲亂政的諸多作為，國際上還有許多人士並不清楚，甚至被蔡政府大外宣所蒙蔽，正因如此，國民黨才要積極對外說明。請關心言論自由的大家，多跟國民黨一起監督執政黨的不當行為，共同守護台灣得來不易的民主自由。
國民黨強調，民進黨質疑不應拿蔡英文與毛澤東對比，但這就是文宣呈現的方式，國外也經常將領導人比擬為法西斯人物，以此反對獨裁民粹專制，都屬於相同的呈現方式。民進黨人士護主心切，只針對在野黨的合理文宣大做文章，卻對蔡英文打壓言論自由的不當施政裝聾作啞，令人遺憾！
KMT: Image Post Has Evinced Current Situation of Tsai Administration Suppressing Taiwan’s Freedom of Speech
The Kuomintang (KMT) pointed out today (Oct. 28th) that the official KMT Twitter account uploaded the image in order to evince the Tsai administration’s totalitarian and dictatorial methods that are currently suppressing Taiwan’s freedom of speech, and to warn all Taiwanese people and foreign friends that under the DPP government, Taiwan is on the verge of losing its freedom of the press and freedom of speech, and becoming a place where only the DPP has a say. In this way, the KMT Twitter supported the demonstration of freedom of speech, yet was politically investigated by green media and internet trolls. This truly reflected what the image was satirizing in the first place!
The KMT emphasized that this image has already been circulating on the internet as early as the first half of this year. Specifically, it was posted on the DCARD social media platform in April and Newtalk News had already posted it in a news article on July 6th. The KMT did not create it nor begin spreading it. The purpose of posting the image this time is to let everyone understand the current Tsai administration’s totalitarian and dictatorial methods, and to emphasize that Taiwan must have sufficient freedom of speech. Otherwise, Taiwan’s system will be the same as that of a communist system, becoming a place of “green terror.”
The KMT pointed out that many foreigners fail to understand, or worse, are even entirely deceived by the Tsai administration’s foreign propaganda machine regarding its numerous acts of one-party rule, exploitation of populism to conceal dictatorship, and corrupt destruction of the Constitution. This is the primary reason the KMT must actively explain the situation to foreigners. Everyone who cares about freedom of speech is welcome to oversee the ruling party’s inappropriate conduct with the KMT and guard Taiwan’s hard-won democratic freedoms together.
The KMT emphasized that although the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) dictates that Tsai Ing-wen should not be compared with Mao Zedong, this sort of comparison is precisely how valid critique emerges. Citizens of foreign countries also often fight dictatorship, populism, and autocracy by comparing their leaders to fascists: these are all the same ways that valid critique emerges. DPP members are eager to protect their master, making a mountain out of a molehill over the opposition party’s fair criticism while turning a blind eye to the Tsai Ing-wen administration’s insupportable suppression of free speech. Sad!
