王浩宇罷免案通過 國民黨：中壢選民展現優質民主
針對今（16）日民進黨籍桃園市議員王浩宇罷免案通過，中國國民黨表示，桃園市中壢區民眾展現出堅強的公民意志，踴躍投票跨過了極高的罷免門檻，汰除心中認為不適任的民代，是台灣民主素養的優質展現。
國民黨指出，罷免王浩宇的難度相當高，王浩宇以1萬6000多票當選，但罷免門檻卻是8萬多票，是當選票數5倍以上；這次中壢鄉親自主踴躍投票，突破超高罷免門檻，再次向各界展現了台灣的優質民主，對於明顯不適任的民意代表，人民不會再寬容下去。
國民黨強調，面對未來其他地區的罷免案，這次的民意展現將是強烈的鼓舞，國民黨也將研議未來的參與方式，將適時協助公民團體讓人民表達意見。
國民黨指出，王浩宇以綠黨身份當選卻改投民進黨，爭議言行罄竹難書，引發強烈的負面評價，這次的罷免案通過，是給所有恣意妄為的政治人物最嚴厲的警惕，同時民意也警告執政黨，若持續招降納叛、濫竽充數，低估民意的反撲，選民必將給予當頭棒喝。
Wang Hao-yu’s Recall By Zhongli Electorate Represents Democracy at Work
Taoyuan City Councilmember and Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) member Wang Hao-yu was successfully recalled today (1/16). The Kuomintang (KMT) points out that voters of the Zhongli Constituency in Taoyuan City demonstrated their staunch determination to remove City Councilmember Wang from his post, as evidenced by their enthusiastic participation in the recall vote and surpassing of the recall threshold. The ability to remove those unfit to represent the public from office by the recall indicates how much Taiwan’s democracy has accomplished throughout its development.
The KMT further points out that the challenge of recalling Wang Hao-yu was considerably difficult. Wang was elected with approximately 16,000 votes, yet the recall threshold required more than 80,000 votes – comparatively speaking, the recall needed five times the original number of votes. This time, the locals of Zhongli Constituency willingly and eagerly voted in the recall election, surmounting the exceedingly high recall threshold. This showcases to the entire world that Taiwan has a strong democracy. Those who are clearly unfit to represent the public will no longer be tolerated by ROC voters.

The KMT points out that Wang Hao-yu ran as a member of the Green Party before switching his party affiliation to the DPP. He has faced innumerable controversies due to his words and deeds, resulting in intensely negative judgments. Wang’s recall serves as a strict and severe warning to all politicians who behave unscrupulously. At the same time, this also warns the ruling DPP that recruiting unprincipled supporters and feigning superiority while underestimating the power of the public will only result in the imminent and sharp rebuke of the DPP.
