江主席：台灣民怨表達需要疫苗的聲音，國際聽到了
中國國民黨持續挺醫療的行動！黨主席江啟臣今(20)日上午前往苗栗，分別至苑裡鎮李綜合醫院、苗栗市大千醫院、頭份市為恭醫院等致贈防疫物資予第一線防疫人員，江主席表示，將會持續募集相關醫療物資，提供全國有需要的醫療院所或團體。有關美國捐贈台灣250萬劑疫苗，江主席表達國民黨誠摯的感謝，這象徵中華民國與美國長期以來所累積的情誼，在彼此需要的時候，大家相互伸出援手，他再次代表中國國民黨表達我們的感謝！
江主席也表示，這250萬劑的疫苗捐贈也證明政府在防疫上，從去年疫情迄今的決策錯誤，白白犧牲了500多條國人的性命；能有這250萬劑，證明台灣人民過去這段時間強力發聲，「我們的民怨與民意表達台灣需要疫苗的聲音，國際社會聽到了」，因此，能即時給我們救援，美方也說明清楚，這次提供250萬劑就是救命。
針對這些救命的疫苗，江主席認為，政府應該做好在施打上的妥善規劃，應事先與地方政府、第一線施打的單位做好協調溝通，不要再發生訊息上，有的先得到、有的慢得到，前後不一或施打上混亂的狀況。江主席也提醒政府，台灣疫苗取得迄今是別人捐贈的高於我們自己購買的，這是很奇怪的現象，怎麼會一個政府的疫苗政策，以台灣水準，我們變成都在等其他國家送，或靠民間購買？那政府存在目的及功能是什麼？
面對這麼嚴峻的疫情，江主席強調，疫苗的採購絕對是中央政府的責任，蔡政府應負起責任爭取更多安全、有效、國際認證的疫苗，也讓國產疫苗能有時間好好經過三期的人體試驗，再來施打，不要讓人民當白老鼠，此外，對於二代疫苗的超前佈署，政府也要趕快拿出辦法。立法院已經編列高額的疫苗經費，迄今都是別人送的疫苗高於我們買的，這些預算拿去哪裡了？二代疫苗的佈署在哪裡？第一代疫苗的佈署已經落後，二代疫苗人家都在研發了，為什麼政府現在還不做超前佈署？不管採購或爭取代工機會都應該趕快做，蔡政府還坐在那邊等嗎？人民就真的只能拿生命跟你等嗎？這就是人民憤怒的地方。
江主席質疑，國際社會皆已經聽到台灣需要疫苗的聲音，蔡政府還這麼麻木、被動嗎？這樣的政府還能帶領國家嗎？並不是人家捐了，就開始進行大內宣，「這不是你的功勞，這是你該負的責任，現在進來的疫苗是救命的疫苗，不是拿來做宣傳的疫苗」。
「人命優先，疫苗是救命的，不是拿人命來救疫苗」，江主席強調，政府要輔助國產疫苗的發展，相信國人不會反對，但不能拿人民的命來輔導國產疫苗，這是不對！應該爭取更多、有效國際認證疫苗提供人民施打，讓國產疫苗有足夠時間，與國際疫苗一樣，進行三期人體試驗，再取得政府EUA授權，這是國際間疫苗的作法，有哪項國際疫苗是跳過三期試驗？國產疫苗要成為第一個嗎？上週相關國際組織已經表達免疫橋接在國際上沒有一致的共識，也沒有國際標準，蔡政府已經拿台灣人性命冒險一年半，還要繼續拿人民的命來賭注嗎？相信人民不會同意的。
Chairman Chiang: Complaints from our constituents are heard by the international community
The Kuomintang (KMT) is continuing its support for medical actions to support our people. This morning (June 20th) KMT Chairman Johnny Chiang arrived at Miaoli County (苗栗縣) to deliver medical supplies respectively at Yuanli Township Li General Hospital （苑裡鎮綜合醫院）, Miaoli City Daqian Hospital （苗栗市大千醫院）, Toufen City Weigong Hospital （頭份市為恭醫院）, etc to donate epidemic prevention materials to front-line epidemic prevention personnel. He expressed his dedication to raise more medical supplies in order to provide adequate supplies to medical institutions across the country. On behalf of the Kuomintang (KMT), he expressed his sincere gratitude for the 2.5 million doses of vaccines from the United States of America. This symbolizes the long-standing and unbreakable friendship between the Republic of China and the United States.
Chairman Chiang also pointed out that the 2.5 million doses of vaccine donations in itself is living proof of the mistakes that the DPP government made ever since last year’s epidemic. The fact remains, more than 500 constituents' lives in our country were taken away. People of Taiwan made a strong point with their actions, “Our people’s public grievances and statements expressed the need for vaccines here in Taiwan, and the international community heard our call.”. Therefore, the 2.5 million doses at this time is an immediate relief to prevent further losses.
Chairman Chiang believes that the DPP government should be making proper delivery of vaccines and coordinating with county governments and first-line vaccine distribution points, making sure the entire process is standardized and not inconsistent like the status quo. He furthers that the vaccines obtained in Taiwan are mostly composed of pure donations from other countries, instead of our own purchases. This strange phenomenon should not occur, since a government’s vaccine policy should not be dependent on other countries, or else there is no need for a government in the first place.
In the face of such a severe pandemic, Chairman Chiang emphasizes that it is the responsibility of the central government to procure vaccines. The Tsai Administration should be taking on the responsibility to obtain safe, effective and internationally certified vaccines while ensuring Taiwanese manufactured vaccines can pass through phase three experiment. Our constituents are not white rats. In addition, the deployment of second generation vaccines needs a plan ready. Where is the budget from the Legislative Yuan for vaccine purchases? Our country is falling behind and why isn’t the central government taking any measures for this? Regardless of procurement of vaccines or Original Equipment Manufacturer opportunities, the Tsai administration needs to act right now. Our people’s lives should not be lost just because the government fails to do anything. This is why our constituents are irritated.
Chairman Chaing questions the Tsai administration for being numb and passive. An internal propaganda should not be the first thing that the government does when it contains live saving vaccines. As what the Chairman coined, “This is not a favor but a responsibility of the government. The vaccine that is coming in now is a life-saving vaccine, not a vaccine for publicity.”
“We need to prioritize lives. Vaccines are meant to save lives, not the other way around.”. Chairman stretches that the government should assist the development of domestic vaccines. He believes that the constituents will not oppose but we need to draw the line when the Tsai administration uses lives as assistance to the development of vaccines. We should be striving for more imports of effective vaccines from the international community to provide enough time to carry out phase three human trials where we obtain the government’s EUA authorization. Vaccines aren’t supposed to skip Phase 3 trials, and certainly our own vaccines should not be the first. Last week, relevant international organizations have expressed that there is no consensus on immunization bridging in the world. The Tsai Administration risked the lives of our constituents for a year and a half already, and justice will prevail. One thing is for sure, the people will not agree to the actions of the government.
