江主席：秉持「臨難毋苟免」信念承擔黨務
中國國民黨主席江啟臣今（4）日主持中常會時表示，根據TVBS最新民調，國民黨的政黨支持度已正式超越民進黨，「不是未來一年的目標，而是現在進行式」。江主席強調，一路拼搏，不曾放棄，靠的不是單一個人的堅持，更是所有常委以及黨公職人員共同的努力。「臨難毋苟免」是他當初競選黨主席、承擔黨務以來的信念，國民黨的改變更不是現在才要開始，過去一年多的努力，我們已經看到成果。
江主席指出，疫情的起伏，引發國人對於民進黨政府的不滿，也讓支持者對於國民黨的期望超越監督者的角色，甚至愛之深、責之切。江主席強調，回應人民的期望，是在野黨的責任，他要負責任地向國人以及支持者報告，國民黨正走在正確的道路上，逐步贏回多數民眾的肯定。
江主席表示，過去一段時間，綠營媒體不斷透過特定的民調數字打擊本黨，對外釋放「國民黨支持度崩盤」、「國民黨防疫期間表現不好」的錯誤訊息；緊接著就是綠營側翼以及有心人士，不斷操作這樣的話題，上游製造新聞、下游擴散打擊，甚至製造國民黨內部矛盾，抹黑過去一段時間大家的奮鬥與努力，令人憂心。
但是，根據今天稍早，中華民意研究協會委託TVBS民調中心所進行的最新民調結果顯示，民進黨的政黨支持度為21.8%，國民黨的政黨支持度，從六月份的19.0%，增加4.4%，正式超越民進黨來到23.4%。「國民黨支持度超越民進黨，絕對不是未來一年的目標，而是現在進行式」。
江主席指出，對照去年5月，TVBS的民調數據顯示，當時民進黨的政黨支持度是29.7%，國民黨僅有12.2%，民進黨的支持度幾乎是國民黨的2.5倍。一路拼搏，不曾放棄，靠的不是單一個人的堅持，更是所有常委以及黨公職人員共同的努力。
江主席特別強調，疫情期間，國民黨中央與地方共同對抗疫情、理性建言，從入境普篩、精準普篩、積極購買符合國際認證的疫苗、普發現金、BNT疫苗優先提供年輕族群施打、凍漲電價、揭露高端疫苗效力的風險，每一步都走得踏實，也證明民進黨的防疫、紓困政策，一直都是跟著國民黨走。此外，國民黨推動「防疫我＋1」捐贈醫療物資，以及目前積極進行的愛心待用餐，幫助弱勢族群，更是發揮回饋社會、貢獻社會的正面力量，獲得廣大的迴響。
江主席強調，接下來更要強力監督。尤其民進黨對於高端疫苗黑箱審查，強渡關山，倉促規劃施打，以及施打規劃混亂民怨四起，更證明民進黨的疫苗政策，是一連串的混亂與失敗。國民黨會繼續結合所有從政同志的力量，堅持國人施打的疫苗應該要經過三期試驗以及國際認證。
此外，對於行政院不願意以普發現金紓困、振興，國民黨更要堅定立場，凸顯民進黨發放振興券，不但完全背離民意，浪費行政成本，將去年失敗的三倍券政策複製貼上，更是重蹈覆轍。
針對黨務選舉，江主席指出，黨務選舉應該是我們凝聚的動力，監督才是我們的戰場。面對民進黨的倒行逆施，我們更要緊密一致。黨內的民主程序，不應該讓民進黨轉移焦點、見縫插針。黨務是團隊工作，他接任黨主席一年多來的，見證了中央黨務同仁、立法院黨團、地方執政縣市、地方議會黨團，以及所有黨公職人員的努力與付出。這些努力不應該因為黨務選舉就被低估忽視，甚至扭曲抹黑。只要大家矛頭對內，就是敵人的勝利，更是國家的停滯。「競選的職務是一時的，努力贏回國人信任，才是我們共同的目標」。
江主席強調，「領導力」應展現在每一次的政治實踐、在黨最艱困時願意勇敢承擔，並應展現在困難的時候以身作則，奮力拚搏，跌倒了站起來，再跌倒再站起來，直到勝利為止。國民黨永遠是我們的母親與資產，當國民黨氣虛時，我們必須選擇一起努力奮進、力挽狂瀾，才能夠期盼未來有機會可以共享榮耀。國民黨越是茁壯，綠營越是焦急心切、猛烈攻擊，我們更要彼此相挺，拒絕分化，堅持走在對的道路上，勇敢進前。

Chairman Chiang: In Leading KMT, Will Not Shirk During Most Difficult Times
According to the latest TVBS poll conducted on August 4, Kuomintang (KMT) Chairman Johnny Chiang stated that the KMT’s support rating has already surpassed that of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP). Chairman Chiang emphasized that the party’s insistence on never giving up is the result of joint efforts by all Central Standing Committee members as well as KMT public office holders.. "One should not shirk at the point of crisis" is his belief since he ran for party chairman and assumed responsibility for party affairs. The KMT’s transformation is obvious for all to see, and the efforts that the party made over the past year have already yielded significant results.
Chairman Chiang indicated that the pubic have expressed dissatisfaction with the DPP government for its poor response to the recent outbreaks of Covid-19 infections.. Chiang emphasized that it was the responsibility of the opposition parties to respond to the expectations of the people, saying that the KMT is on the right path and is gradually winning back the approval of the majority of the people.
According to the latest poll conducted by the TVBS Poll Center commissioned by the Chinese Association for Public Opinion Research, the DPP’s support rating is 21.8 percent, while the KMT’s support has increased by 4.4 percent from 19.0 percent, the result in June, to 23.4 percent, surpassing the DPP’s support rating.
Chairman Chiang emphasized that during the pandemic, the KMT central committee joined hands withlocal governments in the fight against the pandemic, offering the central government many rational suggestions. In addition, the KMT has promoted the donation of medical supplies for the "Pandemic Prevention Me+1" program and is actively helping underprivileged groups. The KMT has played a positive role in contributing to our society, and has received a wide range of responses.
Chairman Chiang emphasized that the next step is to vigorously oversee the ruling party. In particular, the DPP has engaged in clandestine decision-makingin the review of Medigen vaccines, and hastily planned to administer the vaccine. The implementation of the plan is chaotic, which has led to serious public grievances. All these only prove that it is a total disaster forthe DPP’s vaccination policy. The KMT and its party comrades will make all efforts to ensure that the vaccines to be received by the people should undergo phase three trials and obtain international certification.
In addition, when facing the Executive Yuan’s refusal to hand out cash to all residents, the KMT will stand firm. The DPP’s decision to issue stimulus vouchers will not only completely deviate from public expectations and waste administrative costs, it will also make the same mistakes as last year’s triple stimulus voucher policy demonstrated.
Chairman Chiang emphasized that one should demonstrate "leadership" in every practice of politics, bravely assuming responsibilities during the party’s most difficult moment.
