國民黨促對岸自我節制擾臺相關軍事行動
針對昨（5）日19架中共軍機侵擾臺灣防空識別區（ADIZ）西南角一事，中國國民黨表示，中共當局應自我節制有關的軍事行動，民進黨政府亦應檢討類似「法理台獨」的作為，勿使兩岸軍事衝突的可能性逐漸增加。
國民黨認為，防空識別區具有軍事行動緩衝區的作用，現共軍飛行器意圖難明，近年來又頻繁打破慣例進入識別區，只會徒增臺灣民眾反感與兩岸緊張對立，並升高軍事誤判風險，中共當局應該立即停止其行為，放棄武力犯臺。
國民黨亦認為，兩岸軍事緊張驟升，與民進黨政府屢次貶抑中華民國的合法性及歷史傳承，刻意忽略中華民國憲法及兩岸人民關係條例亦有關連；民進黨全面執政下雖尚未宣布臺獨，但蔡英文總統及諸多政治任命官員之所作所為已接近漸進式「法理臺獨」，同樣是造成臺海不穩定的重要因素。
國民黨重申，民進黨政府希冀以大幅增加國防相關預算之法，力抗中共軍事壓力，卻忽略了應同時進行政治對話的重要性，因此幾不可能達到真正維護臺澎金馬安全的目的。
國民黨強調，既然美國及臺海周邊主要國家多指出兩岸需要有意義的對話，遑論兩岸公權力必須透過交流對話才能化解對立、累積互信，所以在1912年創建中華民國的國民黨，不怕被若干政黨誣指為「親共」，將持續喚起國內外有識之士對於兩岸關係的正確認知，監督民進黨政府的國家定位與兩岸政策，並要求中共改以和平方式解決兩岸分歧。

KMT Urges Beijing to Refrain from Harassing Taiwan with Military Operations
Regarding the matter of 19 Chinese Communist warplanes infringing upon the southwest corner of Taiwan’s air defense identification zone (ADIZ), the Kuomintang (KMT) states that the Chinese Communist authorities should abstain from such military operations. In addition, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) administration should self-reflect on its “de jure Taiwan independence” related conducts and abstain from increasing the probability of a cross-Strait military conflict.
The KMT believes that an ADIZ acts as a military operations buffer zone. As of now, the intent of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) air force incursions is difficult to discern; for the past few years, the PLA has frequently broken cross-Strait tacit understanding and entered our ADIZ. These actions do nothing except increase the Taiwan people’s antipathy and increase the antagonism of cross-Strait tensions; they also increase the risk of a military miscalculation. The Chinese Communist authorities should cease this conduct immediately and renounce the use of military force against Taiwan.
The KMT also believes that the abrupt increase in cross-Strait military tensions is also related to the DPP’s persistent disparagement of the Republic of China’s (ROC) legitimacy and historical inheritance, in addition to the DPP’s deliberate neglect of the ROC Constitution and the regulations concerning relations between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. Although the DPP, with its complete control of the government, has not yet declared formal Taiwan independence, the conduct of President Tsai Ing-wen and numerous political appointees have already gradually approached “de jure Taiwan independence.” This conduct has caused the current grave instability in the Taiwan Strait.
The KMT reiterates that although the DPP administration hopes to forcefully resist Chinese Communist military pressure by means of legislation which substantially increase the National Defense budget, it ignores the importance of conducting simultaneous political dialogue. As a result, it is impossible to achieve the objective of genuinely safeguarding Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu.
The KMT emphasizes that the United States and most of the countries located near the Taiwan Strait point out that meaningful cross-Strait dialogue must be held, and more crucially, only by means of exchange and dialogue can the antagonisms between the authorities on the two sides of the Strait be resolved and mutual trust be accumulated. Therefore, the KMT, which founded the ROC in 1912, is not worried about false accusations of being “pro-Communist,” and will continue to call upon experts who possess proper understanding of cross-Strait relations, overseeing the DPP administration’s position and its cross-Strait policies. The KMT furthermore calls upon the mainland Chinese authorities to resolve cross-Strait issues peacefully.
