譴責共軍威脅台灣安全及區域和平 國民黨堅定護台呼籲溝通化解衝突
針對中共軍機、軍艦及無人機等近日在臺海周邊活動、演習，甚至侵擾我國外島地區，威脅我國人民安全，中國國民黨表示，國民黨的立場一定是強力捍衛中華民國、守護民主自由，支持國防力量保衛人民的安全，乃至於兩岸及區域的和平穩定，對於所有傷害兩岸和平、區域穩定的舉措、任何傷害台灣安全、對兩千三百萬人的生存發展不利的行為，國民黨都不樂見，並再次表達嚴正譴責。
國民黨指出，促進兩岸和平，是希望人民生活穩定，任何衝突都會傷害的是所有的人民，更不利兩岸民生發展與福祉，國民黨持續努力，不但捍衛中華民國、維護民主自由，也要促進區域的安全和兩岸人民的和平，兩岸只有對話交流，而非對抗交惡，才是兩岸人民與區域鄰國之福。
國民黨呼籲，針對近日台海局勢升高緊張，各方都應節制，不要過度反應、拉高區域衝突與敵意，而台海和平攸關兩岸民眾福祉，更牽動區域安全穩定，需要所有人共同珍惜。陸方應該思考如何維持兩岸溝通，以減少誤判、化解衝突。
國民黨表示，本黨立場是堅定支持國軍以國防力量保衛台灣，並戮力追求與維護區域和平穩定，而非如一些政黨、政治勢力意圖透過衝突來獲得政治利益，如此不顧台灣人民安全、不負責任的做法，國民黨堅決反對，也會用各項行動具體支持國防保台、堅持以追求和平保護台灣的政策路線，以確保台灣人民的安全與繁榮生活。

KMT Stands Resolutely on Defending Taiwan & Calls for Communication to Resolve Conflict
Regarding the military exercises around Taiwan and even disturbing outer islands of the Republic of China (ROC) by CCP warplanes, warships and drones, aimed at threatening the ROC people’s security, the Kuomintang (KMT) states that our unequivocal position is to defend the ROC, safeguard democracy and liberty, and enhance national security to protect our people, and maintain cross-Strait and regional peace and stability. The KMT opposes any conduct which is destructive to cross-Strait peace and regional stability, and any action that is deleterious towards Taiwan’s security and the survival of 23 million people. We reiterate that the KMT strongly condemns such conduct and actions.
The KMT points out that we promote cross-Strait peace in the hopes that the livelihoods of the people on both sides of Taiwan Strait remain stable. Any sort of conflict would be disruptive to the development of cross-Strait relations and harmful to the well-being of all people. The KMT will continue to strive to defend the ROC and safeguard democracy and liberty, and make every effort to promote regional peace and security. Only through cross-Strait dialogue and communication, instead of antagonism and hostility, can the well-being of the people on both sides of the Strait and that of the neighboring countries be achieved.
The KMT calls upon all parties to show restraint, refrain from overreaction, and avoid further escalating regional tensions and hostility. Peace in the Taiwan Strait directly impact on the well-being of the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and affects regional security and stability. All parties must cherish and preserve this peace together. The mainland authorities should consider how to maintain cross-Strait communication in order to reduce the risks of miscalculation and to resolve conflict.
The KMT states that the party’s position is to staunchly support the ROC Armed Forces’ defense of Taiwan and to vigorously seek regional peace and stability; our position is unlike that of certain political parties and political actors which are only after political benefit from conflict. The KMT firmly opposes these sorts of irresponsible machinations, which disregard the security of the Taiwan people. We will instead exhaust all possibilities to concretely support national defense by upholding policy which pursues peace and Taiwan’s security, in order to ensure safe and prosperous lives for the Taiwan people.
