兩項公投案通過，國民黨：積極二階連署，展現人民意志
針對中選會今(18)日審議通過中國國民黨提出「公投綁大選」、「顧食安公投」等兩項公投案，國民黨表示，二階連署人數門檻近29萬，為達成目標，將規劃各縣市辦理同步連署活動，並於各人潮聚集點擺設連署攤，號召更多民眾共同響應連署。
國民黨強調，兩項公投案皆攸關民眾權益與健康，但當前執政者的作為與多數民意背道而馳，因此國民黨將全力發動二階段連署的工作，務必讓公投成案，在「公投綁大選」、「顧食安公投」等兩項議題上，明年8月能透過公民投票展現全民具體意志。
Both Referenda Passed First Stage
KMT: Vigorous Second Stage of Signature Drive to Demonstrate the People’s Will
On December 18th, the government’s Central Election Commission decided to accept the Kuomintang’s (KMT) two proposed referenda: “Tie All Referenda to General Elections” and “Safeguard Food Safety Referendum.” In response, the KMT states that the threshold for the second stage of signature drive is almost 290,000, adding that in order to achieve this target, the KMT is planning for every single county and city to conduct synchronous signature drive campaigns. Furthermore, the KMT will arrange signature drive stands at each and every popular location in order to appeal to even more people to all respond to the signature drive.
The KMT emphasizes that both referenda are of great concern to the rights, interests, and health of the people, yet the conduct of the current ruling party is in direct opposition to that of the majority of popular will. Thus, the KMT will launch an all-out effort to complete the second stage of its referenda to ensure that the referenda will be voted upon by the public, and that these two topics, “Tie All Referenda to General Elections” and “Safeguard Food Safety Referendum,” will be able to represent the definite will of the people next August.
