中國國民黨主辦中華民國112年國慶酒會 廣邀駐華使節、外媒及海內外黨員同志共襄盛舉
中國國民黨今(4)日晚間舉辦中華民國112年國慶酒會。國民黨主席朱立倫廣邀各國駐華使節、駐華外籍媒體、海內外黨員及支持者一同共襄盛舉。夏立言副主席、連勝文副主席、黃健庭秘書長、總統參選人侯友宜、台北市長蔣萬安、基隆市長謝國樑、桃園市長張善政、連江縣長王忠銘及本黨立委、縣市議員等從政同志亦踴躍出席，展現藍軍團結一心、重返執政的決心與氣勢。
朱立倫主席在開場致詞中提到，國民黨112年以來，無論執政或在野，皆不曾改變積極連結世界、守護國家主權、保衛臺灣安全、深化民主法治的立場。我們和國際社會共享自由、和平、民主的普世價值，從不畏懼挑戰，堅持「為人民拚好日子」。國民黨將持續扮演「負責任」的角色，讓下一代在繁榮永續、穩定和平的環境下，追求夢想、成長茁壯。
國民黨總統候選人侯友宜則在致詞中表示，前幾週剛結束訪美行程，會晤許多美國國會議員、學者專家與海外僑胞，大家都非常關心台海局勢。他強調，避免戰爭是所有國家領導人的責任，並主張在《中華民國憲法》框架下，兩岸應務實往來，臺灣更應該扮演「和平促進者」來降低風險。
回顧朱立倫主席上任兩年多以來，對於國民黨在政黨外交的支持不遺餘力。包括朱立倫主席在去(2022)年訪美並重啟本黨在美國華府的駐美代表處；兩年多來朱立倫主席接見會晤各國駐華使節及外賓訪團包括政界學界及民間人士的數量也達到前所未有的高峰；夏立言副主席及連勝文副主席先後訪陸致力於兩岸和平穩定；本黨總統候選人侯友宜市長在上個月也以極高評價順利完成訪問美國的行程。中國國民黨會持續向國際友人傳達我們在「親美、友日、和陸」路線下，「捍衛中華民國、守護臺灣民主自由」的決心。
去年(111年)國民黨國際事務部辦理國慶酒會，精心設計經典臺式菜餚及夜市小吃，提供外賓一場道地的臺灣美食饗宴，頗獲各國外交使節的好評。今年國民黨更把臺灣在地夜市文化原汁原味搬進國慶酒會的現場，提供獎品總數近兩百項的「戳戳樂」抽獎遊戲與賓客同歡，讓外賓盡情體驗臺灣經典夜市文化。獎品內容包羅萬象，實用與紀念價值兼具，由黨內多個部門支持提供，包括國民黨文化傳播委員會、組織發展委員會、革命實踐研究院、大陸事務部、黃復興黨部、及國民黨電商中心等，一同為今年的國慶酒會增添新亮點。
今年國慶酒會的主題強調中華民國國旗「青天、白日、滿地紅」以及台灣在地元素。不僅在主視覺背景融入臺北101、中正紀念堂、新北平溪天燈等我國著名觀光景點剪影，餐點也特別融合我國經典菜餚與23縣市特色美食，充分展現中華民國的多元活力、以及國民黨2024年將從地方出發、重返執政的決心與魄力。

The KMT held the 112th National Day Reception of the Republic of China, and invited foreign missions, foreign press, and the KMT supporters from home and abroad.
The KMT held the 112th National Day Reception of the Republic of China on October 4th evening. KMT Chairman Eric Chu invited foreign missions, foreign press, and the KMT supporters at home and abroad to join this event. KMT Vice Chairman Andrew Hsia, Vice Chairman Sean Lien, Secretary General Justin Huang, presidential candidate Hou Yu-ih, Taipei City Mayor Wayne Chiang, Taoyuan City Mayor Simon Chang, Keelung City Mayor George Hsieh, Lienchiang County Magistrate Chung-Ming Wang, the KMT legislators, and city councilors also attended the reception enthusiastically. This event demonstrates KMT’s unity and determination to return to power.
In Chairman Eric Chu’s opening speech, he mentioned that KMT has never changed our position of connecting to the world actively, protecting our national sovereignty, defending Taiwan, and deepening democracy, whether we’re in power or in opposition. We share the common values of freedom, peace, and democracy with the international society. The KMT is not afraid of challenges and will persist in "Fighting for a Better Life for the People". Meanwhile, the KMT will continue playing a responsible role in securing a prosperous and sustainable environment for our next generation.
The KMT presidential candidate Hou Yu-ih mentioned that during his visit to the United States, he met with many U.S. representatives, senators, scholars, and overseas supporters. All of them are highly concerned about the current situation across the Taiwan Strait. He emphasized that it is the responsibility for all leaders to avoid war, and advocated that under the framework of the R.O.C. Constitution, the both sides of the Taiwan Strait should interact pragmatically. Taiwan should play the role of a "peace facilitator" in order to reduce the risks.
Reviewing the past two years since Chairman Eric Chu took office, he has strongly supported our party diplomacy. We reopened the Representative Office in Washington, D.C, and the number of the foreign guests that we’ve met with has also reached an unprecedented level. In addition, KMT Vice Chairman Andrew Hsia and Sean Lien also visited Mainland China in order to foster peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. Furthermore, KMT presidential candidate Hou Yu-ih had also completed his visit to the United States with highly positive remarks. The KMT will continue showing our determination to ''protect the Republic Of China and safeguard our democracy''.
Last year, KMT Department of International Affairs (DIA) also hosted a National Day Reception, elaborately designing classic Taiwanese dishes and night market snacks to provide foreign guests with a feast of authentic Taiwanese cuisines, which were quite well received by the distinguished guests. This year, the KMT DIA even brought the Taiwanese local night market culture into the National Day Reception, providing nearly 200 prizes in the traditional "poking lottery" for guests to enjoy. The prizes are with both practical and commemorative values, and are provided by a number of KMT departments, including Culture and Communications Committee, Organizational Development Committee, Sun Yat-sen Institution on Policy Research and Development, Department of Mainland Affairs, Huang Fu-Hsing Branch, and E-Commerce Center.
The theme of the National Day Reception this year emphasizes the “Blue Sky, White Sun, and a Wholly Red Earth” of the R.O.C. national flag and Taiwan local elements. In addition to the images of famous tourist attractions such as Taipei 101, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Pingxi sky lanterns integrated into the key visual design, the dishes on the reception also combine traditional cuisines and the special delicacies of the 23 cities and counties of our country. What is mentioned above fully demonstrates the momentum of the Republic of China and the KMT’s determination to return to power in 2024.
